Pastor Shepherd is retired from the US Navy. He is the husband of one wife of 25 years. He and his wife Angelia have 3 children, and 4 grandsons. Apostle Shepherd served at Mt Zion Church Ministries under the late Apostle Tino L. Bell for 14 years, where his first message preached was, I am an unstoppable seed, and then served at St Mark Church Ministries under Apostle Melvin Parks as an Elder for 6 years. Pastor Shepherd has a fathering spirit, and his greatest desire is to see people conformed into the image of Christ. His approach in ministry is no nonsense, and his articulation of the scriptures is applicable to today's ups and downs of life. He is transparent about his valley experiences in hopes that they will lead people on the path to the Christ life. Affectionately known as Bishop, Elder, Pastor Shep, Rev, ect, his greatest title is that of a son of God, and a servant of Christ. Pastor Shepherd sits on several boards in the city such as the Lenoir County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC), The Hope Preparatory Christian School advisory board, and also The Lenoir County Commissioners Diversity Committee.
